Facebook is fun and it can be really addictive at first, but in the end, the winner is always something beautiful in the old-fashioned mailbox. A card or letter is so much more personal and truly reflects the care you want to convey better than does an email. Sure, you can whip up an electronic message and have it instantly appear on the desktop of another, but you cultivate deeper appreciation with a hand written thought. It's a fuller sensory experience and if you mail something gorgeous, it's more likely to become a treasure, too!
