Happy New Year 2008!
Now that we've moved to the Albany area, we'll be looking to expand Q Cards' retail presence in New York State. It's an exciting area here with many opportunities to grow. Doesn't your heart quicken just a bit when you open the mailbox to find a handwritten letter addressed to you? It's seems more exciting when it's not even your birthday and weren't expecting anything but bills. One way to keep the art of letter writing alive is by creating a writing box.
A shoe box will do, or you can buy a pretty storage one. The point is that this will be a special container where you will keep everything you need in one place. (Make sure it is out of reach of curious children who are hunting for treasure boxes!) Because it is so portable, you can take your thoughts and supplies to a bench at the park, a quiet coffee house, the public library- almost anywhere. Keep in mind you'll need a flat smooth surface upon which to write. In a pinch the box top can double as a mini desk. Here are ideas for stocking your writing box:

Summer is ending and we'd like to offer a card for your friend the teacher who is going back to school soon. Adams was an intellectual born into the fourth generation of a family of distinguished politicians, diplomats and statesmen that included two presidents of the United States. He lived from 1838 to 1913.
