Welcome
Congratulations!!! You’ve found a truly unique and one-of-a-kind greeting card! Prepare to make a big impression. People love to get cards in the mail, but what happens to them once they are read? Unless they mark a special moment, they probably end up in the trash (or maybe the recycling bin!). When you give a Q Card, it is guaranteed to become a keepsake. Something wondrous is bound to happen- a laugh, a smile, a tear or a hug. So brace yourself!
What's New with Q Cards

ChoicesFacebook is fun and it can be really addictive at first, but in the end, the winner is always something beautiful in the old-fashioned mailbox. A card or letter is so much more personal and truly reflects the care you want to convey better than does an email. Sure, you can whip up an electronic message and have it instantly appear on the desktop of another, but you cultivate deeper appreciation with a hand written thought. It's a fuller sensory experience and if you mail something gorgeous, it's more likely to become a treasure, too!

Send a little bit of yourself Yesterday I found in my mailbox the usual- bills, store flyers, credit card offers, etc... Hidden between the mundane was a Christmas card from an old friend. Tucked inside was a sweet surprise- a letter she had written just to me. I was touched by how much thought and time she had put into the words she wrote. Catching up once a year by sharing a meaningful letter is one of the best gifts I can think of. Connecting the old fashioned way, by dropping a stamped letter in the mailbox, is becoming a lost art. Maybe that's why it seems so special and honest. Although I recently found the joys of Facebook (join my "Q Cards by Jamie" group if you're on), nothing can replace opening that little metal door to find a letter with something personal ascribed within. Of course the message from the sender is always most important but if it's nestled in a beautiful card, that's even better! Remember FREE SHIPPING on all Q Card orders- they make great gifts for teachers!

FREE SHIPPING! FREE SHIPPING! FREE SHIPPING! Did I mention, FREE SHIPPING?
I'm excited to announce that Q Cards is offering FREE SHIPPING on every order! This offer is good until January 31, 2009. So if you didn't make it to Sea Hags or the UUCB art show, now you can get your Q Cards and framed artwork online at no extra charge.
And, just to be accurate with the info. I post, the postage rate is 42 cents (has been for quite some time now!). I like to get the "forever stamp" even though it isn't as attractive as some of the others. This way I'm always safe sending something. Sometimes those changes sneak up and I forget about them until it's too late and I'm crossing my fingers that Gramma's card gets to her without a "postage due" reminder!
I am adding new quotes daily to the catalog list- the collection continues to grow. Is there a word for someone addicted to quotes? I'm definitely an addict! I have be caught scribbling down words from magazines, books, bumper stickers and tea bags. Sometimes I even pause a movie I'm watching just so I can capture an actor's line. I've even borrowed words from some of my favorite songs. But I can quit any time I want...
There's one more thing, but it's a surprise. It'll be a nice addition to Q Cards. Make sure you're on the email list for Q Cards Quote of the Week, and you'll find out soon!
